Objects Settings
The Objects settings panel is where you choose which Salesforce objects Data Cleanser can scan. It combines standard and custom object enablement in one place — use the tabs at the top of the panel to switch.
The Objects section appears in the Settings sidebar when your license includes Enterprise object coverage (Enterprise or Enterprise + Rollback; Trial can evaluate). Without that license, Account, Contact, and Lead remain available for scenarios, but the Objects panel is hidden.
Open Objects settings
- Open the Settings tab.
- Choose Objects in the sidebar.
- Use the Standard or Custom tab at the top of the panel.
Older deep links to “Standard Objects” or “Custom Objects” still open this same panel on the matching tab.
Standard tab
Enable additional Salesforce standard objects beyond Account, Contact, and Lead — Case, Opportunity, Asset, and more. Full workflow, categories (Recommended / Industry / Advanced), and Person Accounts: Standard Objects.
- Account, Contact, and Lead are always enabled.
- Recommended, industry, and advanced objects appear when your org supports them.
- Person Accounts are configured as a separate option when enabled in your org.
Custom tab
Enable subscriber custom objects for duplicate detection. Requires an Enterprise or Enterprise + Rollback license (available during Trial for evaluation). Full workflow and merge behavior: Custom Objects.
- Search eligible objects by label or API name.
- Selected objects appear in Scenarios, Review, and scheduling.
-
Merge uses describe-driven consolidation, not native
Database.merge.
After you enable an object
- Create a scenario for that object.
- Start a scan, then review groups as usual.
- Optionally add the object to Auto Schedule (scenario weekday cards) once scenarios exist.
