The Duplicate Queue
The Review tab is the merge workbench. It has three areas: the duplicate queue on the left, the comparison panel in the middle, and the merge controls on the right. This page covers the queue.
Working the queue
- Filter by object — Accounts / Contacts / Leads / Cross-object / Rollback, each with a count badge.
- Search groups — filter the queue by name.
- Open a group — click a row to load it into the comparison panel (group name + duplicate count).
- Select multiple groups — tick checkboxes to batch-merge (see Multi-Select & Mass Merge). Cross-object groups use the conversion flow instead.
After each merge, the group disappears and the next one loads automatically — work through a long queue without clicking between groups.
Queue behavior — pagination, layout, and scans
- The queue loads 50 groups at a time as you scroll, up to 200 per view. Footer: "Showing X of Y groups."
- The panel is collapsible — collapsed it shows just the total count badge. On narrow screens the queue opens as an overlay.
- While a scan runs: "Processing — waiting for results…" — queue stays empty until the scan completes, then groups load automatically. See Duplicate Groups and Scans.
- When everything is clean: "No duplicate groups in queue."
