Welcome to Data Cleanser

Data Cleanser is the duplicate management app for Salesforce. It finds duplicate Accounts, Contacts, and Leads in your org, lets you review them side by side, and merges them safely — one group at a time or all at once.

The core loop is simple: configure → scan → review → merge. You define scenarios that describe what counts as a duplicate, run a background scan, then work through the detected groups in the Review workbench.

The four tabs

Data Cleanser is a single-page app with four tabs in the top navigation bar:

The app navigation bar. The active tab gets a brand underline and brand-colored icon and label.
Tab What it's for
Home Your dashboard — key stats, alerts about recent activity, your pinned scenarios, and data health at a glance.
Scenarios Where you define how duplicates are found: match rules, filters, and master (survivorship) rules.
Review The merge workbench — review detected duplicate groups and merge them.
Settings Display preferences, lead conversion options, scheduling, merge history, the warnings log, your license, and more.

License is no longer its own tab — it now lives inside Settings. Open the Settings tab and choose License (the last item in the settings sidebar) to see your package access, merge usage, and trial/Pro status.

The Home dashboard

The Home tab opens with "Welcome back" and gives you a live overview — KPI stat cards, a "While you were away" alerts panel, your Favourited and Activated scenarios, and per-object data health. See The Home Tab for a guided tour of each piece.

Things that appear everywhere

Toast notifications at the top of the app confirm successful actions or explain errors, then disappear after a few seconds.

Success, error, and brand toast tones. In the app, one toast at a time renders top-center.

The License banner appears below the navigation bar when your license has expired or your trial merges are used up.
