Financial planning software for Salesforce-first RIAs

If Salesforce is already the operating system for your RIA, planning should not require a second household database.

Salesforce-first RIAs already run households, workflows, and often Financial Services Cloud. Financial Planner is aimed at that stack: native projections in Lightning, planned $600 per user per year at launch, and early access while the AppExchange listing is in coming-soon status.

Planning options for Salesforce-first RIAs

How native Salesforce planning compares to adding another planning portal to the RIA stack.

Topic External planning portal Stratus Financial Planner
Systems in stack Custodian + CRM + planner + often a client portal Custodian + CRM with planning in Salesforce
Compliance inventory Separate vendor, ACL, and data-processor review Extends existing Salesforce controls
Associate workflow Update CRM and hope the planner syncs Update the plan where the household already lives
Licensing Vendor-specific per-user or firm pricing Planned $600 USD / user / year at AppExchange launch
Best fit RIAs needing a consumer-facing planning site RIAs running Salesforce as the operating system
The challenge

The RIA stack problem

Custodian, CRM, planner, portal

Each extra system is training, audit, and reconciliation. Planning is often the leakiest layer.

Associates live in Salesforce

If the plan is elsewhere, junior staff update CRM and hope the planner catches up.

Exam-ready access reviews

Compliance already knows Salesforce users. A second planning ACL is another worksheet.

How Financial Planner helps

Built for a Salesforce operating model

One household plan record

Financial Plan, records, insights, and explorers are in the org your RIA already supervises.

Pilot before you re-platform

Request early access or review the documentation while the public AppExchange listing is prepared.

Founded 2009, Salesforce-native ISV

Stratus has shipped native Salesforce apps for data quality, learning, and now wealth planning — not a new CRM overlay company.

Outcomes

What a Salesforce-first RIA keeps

  • Planning aligned to how the RIA already works in Salesforce
  • Planned per-user pricing published ahead of launch
  • Fewer systems in a compliance inventory
FAQ

Common questions

Is pricing per firm or per user?

Planned pricing is $600 USD per user per year when the listing is public, after a 30-day trial with one fully functional Financial Plan. Contact us for nonprofit discounts.

Do we need Financial Services Cloud?

No, but FSC households are a natural fit. Sales Cloud is also listed as compatible.
